A graduate from the Economic Faculty of the National University Kyiv Mohyla Academy, Yevhen took a Master’s degree in Economic Theory from the EERC Programme at NaUKMA (now the Kyiv Economic School). In 2003-2007 worked as an editor of economic sections in Ukrainian business media; from 2007 till 2014 held investment analyst and VP positions at various investment banks. In 2015-2019 worked in National Bank of Ukraine as Head of Office and Deputy Director of Department to deal with bank stress testing, regulations implementation, certain aspects of banking supervision and prepared NBU analytical reports. Yevhen’s areas of expertise include those of the banking sector, supervision, state-owned banks, financial analysis of banks and real-sector companies, evaluation of financial solvency of companies. In 2009 he was acknowledged the best investment analyst of the Central and Eastern Europe in sectoral category (Thomson Reuters’ Extel Survey). He is experienced in teaching programmes at the Kyiv Economic School.
