Dmytro Boyarchuk, CASE Ukraine`s Executive Director, said in a commentary to Delo.ua, that the cooperation with the IMF suggests that Ukraine will start the most unpopular and difficult reforms by the end of December. This created a chance to obtain the next tranche in February.
’I think that the next tranche will be very difficult to receive. One may compare each point in the published list with raising tariffs for gas and heat – and these are very painful and large-scale questions. The steps proposed are correct, but politically risky’, said Dmytro Boyarchuk, CASE Ukraine`s executive director.
