Ukraine ended 2010 on a positive note. Domestic demand revived, exports were up almost 30% in nominal terms, driven by a renewed metal price boom, and the political situation had stabilized.
These factors have left us feeling positive about the two-year macro outlook. Still, we see disturbing signals at the micro level.
