Under the Social Assistance Reform Project, the experts of CASE Ukraine studied international and domestic experience of social cards implementation and presented it in the report International experience in implementing electronic cards for social assistance (UKR).
The document provides examples of using social electronic cards for social assistance purposes in different countries, analyses main benefits of their use and difficulties associated with their introduction. It also describes Ukraine’s experience in launching social electronic card projects. The preliminary estimates of costs and benefits of introducing social electronic cards in Ukraine are also presented.
