Center for Social and Economic Research CASE Ukraine and Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) will present the results of the research conducted for the project «EU Eastern Neighbourhood: Economic Potential and Future Development», (ENEPO).

The Project is implemented within Sixth Framework Program and financially supported by the European Commission.

The main goal of the project was analysis of different aspects of the European Union’s relations with its neighbours at the East.  The key research efforts were allocated on analysis of economic aspects of Eastern neighbourhood such as closing the development gap, trade relations, energy policy, potential labour migration, institutional harmonization etc.

The project was implemented by consortium of eleven partner institutes through 2005-2009 that was led by CASE (Warsaw).

The seminar will be a part of ENEPO seminar series also organized in Russia, Moldova, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.

At the Kyiv seminar the NUPI and CASE Ukraine experts will present on regional inequality & convergence and institutional harmonization aspects of European integration.

CASE Ukraine and NUPI invite experts and journalists to participate in the event.
