Many factors may affect the growth rate of the Ukrainian economy. 2019 elections are among them, Case Ukraine`s senior economist Volodymyr Dubrovsky claims
According to him, in 2018, the economy will grow by 3%, and the World Bank’s forecast of 3.5% is close to reality.
In addition, the expert notes that there is hope that, by 2019, the reform of the replacement of the tax on income by a capital withdrawal tax will start. If in 2018 someone solves VAT problems, it will be easier for businesses to develop.
In the opinion of the expert, the 2019 elections may well change the situation unpredictably.
