Strengthening the institutional capacity and legal framework of the institute of public social inspectors, and broadening their functions with regard to attend to socially vulnerable family maintenance (UKR)

The presentation gives an overview of development aimed at improving the social inspector’s activities in Ukraine. The current efficiency of social inspectors’ work is low. In addition, social inspectors face a conflict of interest while performing their official duties. CASE Ukraine experts examined the social inspectors’ activities in Ukraine, studied the world’s best practices of social inspector’s work and anti-fraud systems, and developed several tools to facilitate the inspector’s work and improve anti-fraud techniques.
