The New EU Frontier: Perspectives on Enhanced Economic Integration

This CASE Report aims to identify the best forms of enhanced economic integration between the EU and Ukraine, Russia, Egypt, Morocco and Algeria, from the EU perspective. The authors review existing forms of integration and evaluate the various institutional options for further integration over the next five to ten years. The effects of increased integration are evaluated in terms of trade in goods and services and migration. The authors conclude by recommending areas to prioritize in future cooperation agreements and pointing out where business opportunities will open up for EU partners.
