How Much Does Civil Society Contribute to Ukraine’s Economy?
We often talk about civil society in terms of values: trust, solidarity, and mutual support. But when it comes to shaping policies and making decisions, numbers matter.
ISAR Ednannia commissioned CASE Ukraine to conduct a study examining the contribution of Ukraine’s civil society sector to the national economy.
On 11 November, from 3:00 to 5:30 PM, ISAR Ednannia and CASE Ukraine invite you to discover the scale of the sector’s economic contribution and discuss how to make it more visible to decision-makers.
Volodymyr Dubrovskyi, the study’s author, will present the findings on the contribution of civil society organizations (CSOs) and volunteers to Ukraine’s GDP.
The event will also include a discussion on how to advocate for greater recognition of civil society’s economic contribution at the national level. You will have an opportunity to join the conversation and share your perspectives.
ISAR Ednannia will collect participants’ views and proposals and share them with partners to help shape further advocacy efforts for the sector.
We welcome representatives of civil society organizations, international donors and partners, government officials responsible for cooperation with civil society, experts, analysts, researchers, and media representatives.
